Fun in the fresh air on the farm

LEARNING DISABILITY SUPPORT AND MENTAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES

Jacks place Care is based in Malvern and was set up in 2018 by Hannah James.

GROWTH FROM MODEST BEGINNINGS

Jacks Place Care began on the family farm, but it grew too much following COVID, so moved to a new 16-acre location, just down the road from the family farm in October 2022.

Group enjoying the farm

LOCATED ON A 16-ACRE FARM

The new location is a farm, featuring a beautiful cosy barn, with a wood burner where we spend time during periods of inclement weather and winter days undertaking the many activities on offer – including arts and crafts, games and puzzles, bingo, music, horticultural activities, cooking and baking, music therapy, educational opportunities, plus exercise and movement. We also provide life skills training, social opportunities, trips out on our 18-seater bus, storytelling and lots of community engagement with themed events and celebrations.

Puzzle game fun

PADDOCKS AND A HUGE OUTDOOR SHADED AREA

We also have 2 paddocks with an aviary, a trampoline, a huge area of shade, outdoor seating and eating area and loads of beautiful green space to be free, have fun and enjoy ourselves!

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

We are absolutely passionate and committed to providing and promoting opportunities for meetings between people who might not otherwise come into contact with each other, and this is our focus for the future – more community engagement events.
