1. Who can attend Jacks Place Care?
We welcome adults and young people with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, autism, and older adults who may be experiencing isolation, dementia, or physical limitations. Each placement is tailored to individual needs.
2. Where are you located?

Our 16-acre smallholding provides a peaceful, engaging farm-based setting, perfect for outdoor learning, therapeutic experiences, and personalised support.
3. What are your opening times?
We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
4. How do we arrange a visit, and when can we come?

Visits can be scheduled Monday to Friday during our opening hours. We’ll be happy to show you around, introduce our team, and discuss your needs.
5. Do I need a referral to attend?
No referral is needed. You can pay privately or access funding through your local council. We’re happy to guide you through either option.
6. Are your staff trained and vetted?
Yes. All our staff are fully trained, experienced in working with a range of needs, and Enhanced DBS checked to ensure the highest level of safety and professionalism.
7. Do you offer 1:1 support?
Yes. We provide bespoke 1:1 support for individuals with complex needs. This includes help with communication, emotional regulation, personal care prompts, and encouragement to participate in activities—all delivered by trained, compassionate staff.
8. Is transport available?
Yes. We offer bespoke transport using a fully adapted, disabled-access minibus, accompanied by a trained staff member to ensure safety and comfort.
9. What activities do you offer?
Our activities include animal care, gardening, arts and crafts, cooking, life skills, sensory play, gentle exercise, and social time. All sessions are person-centred and adapted to suit individual interests and abilities.
10. Do you support older adults?
Absolutely. We warmly welcome older adults seeking companionship, meaningful activities, and a supportive environment. Our services include reminiscence sessions, wellbeing support, mobility help, and relaxation activities.
11. Do you provide lunch?
We provide refreshments throughout the day, including drinks and light snacks. However, we ask that all clients bring a packed lunch with them.
12. How much does it cost?
Our prices vary depending on the level of support required (including 1:1 care or transport).

- Day Care: £62.54 per day
- Transport:
• Under 10 miles: £22 per day
• 10–20 miles: £35 per day
• 20–30 miles: £52.32 per day
Prices may vary based on individual needs and support required.
13. Do we offer a taster day?
Yes, we offer a free taster day but if transport is required this must be paid for.
